Celebrate Freedom Day weekend in true rock-and-roll style as The Hangout Fest 3 returns with an electrifying lineup, vibrant energy, and a spirit of freedom, connection, and self-expression.
Taking place on Saturday, 25 April at The German Club in Edenvale, the festival promises a full day of live music and community-driven celebration. Guests are invited to embrace the long weekend, whether flying solo or arriving with friends.
Following the success of previous editions, The Hangout Fest continues to grow as a favourite among local music fans. This year’s lineup features top South African acts including The Dirty Skirts, Lee Cole, Shadowclub, Majozi, The Black Cat Bones, The Muffinz, Jasper Dan, Rambling Bones, Prime Circle and Hellcats. DJ sets by Michael Lesar and Cath Grenfell, along with MC Barney Simon, will keep the energy high throughout the day.
Gates open at 11:00, with performances kicking off from 12:00.
Ticket options range from general admission to VIP experiences, with added perks such as a private bar, exclusive facilities and relaxed seating. Party bus packages are also available for those looking for a hassle-free travel option.
