Zip Zap Circus and School of Rock South Africa join forces for Full Tilt, a high-energy live performance combining circus, music and youthful talent at Cape Town’s District Six Homecoming Centre from 23 to 26 September 2026.
Featuring 25 Zip Zap circus performers and 11 School of Rock musicians aged between 11 and 33, the production will deliver seven shows with the entire musical score performed live on stage.
Rather than relying on a pre-recorded soundtrack, Full Tilt sees the musicians and circus performers respond to one another in real time, creating an unpredictable and dynamic performance where music and movement collide.
The production takes place at the historic Homecoming Centre at 15 Buitenkant Street, the former Sacks Futeran warehouse and home to the District Six Museum’s second building. The Thursday performances also coincide with Heritage Day, adding further significance to the venue and occasion.
