The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes spring with its enchanting Early Spring Concert Season, bringing four weeks of world-class orchestral music to Johannesburg every Thursday evening until 3 September 2026.
Celebrating Women’s Month, the season features an outstanding line-up of international and local talent, including conductors Barbara Dragan, Debora Waldman and Daniel Boico, alongside acclaimed soloists Zlata Chochieva on piano, Lidia Baich on violin, Xin Wang and Florian Koltun as a piano duo, and internationally recognised South African violist Gareth Lubbe.
The programme brings together some of classical music’s most beloved works, from Brahms and Tchaikovsky to Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Walton.
