Can we get a hallelujah for the month of August? Not only is it the month in the year that we get to celebrate all the fantastic women of Mzanzi but it’s also the new restaurant month in the Cape Winelands. Stellenbosch is hosting the Taste Stellenbosch Food & Wine event for the entire month of August.
New restaurant month is based on the popular annual Restaurant Week celebration, however, now you will have a whole month to discover all the culinary delights of Stellenbosch. And yes of course you can expect fantastic deals and specials at the restaurants.
You will also be pleased to know there are many new restaurants and eateries having recently opened in Stellenbosch. So you might not believe it but you will be able to dine at more than 60 restaurants across a wide range of specialities including steakhouses, South African, Japanese, Italian, Lebanese, Indian and French cooking.
Furthermore if you can afford to, we encourage you to linger longer and take advantage of the surrounding areas and perhaps even visit the beach and main city centre.
Affirming the Cape Winelands town as the culinary capital of South Africa, Taste Stellenbosch Food & Wine event will take place from 1 to 31 August.
